Framed Oil on Canvas landscape scene; circa 1902; signed JH Boel and features a man on a boat on a body of water. J.H. Boel was an impressionist & modern painter. There is a note on the back on the frame that says this lovely painting was purchased around 1980 at Dayton's.

Vintage 1950's Fish Graal (also known as "slip graal") vase. Designed and created by Edward Hald (1883- 1980) while working for Orrefors Glassworks in Sweden. This vase is designed with motifs of green fish and seaweed in two tone green cased with clear glass. The result of the graal technique is a painting within the the glass. It is truly a stunning work of art! About 5" tall.

Gustavsberg Argenta Pottery (Sweden) (1089) Measures about 8.5" tall. This stunning vase depicts an elegant fish figure in a silver overlay. Designed by Wilhelm Kåge (1889-1960) who is one of the most well-known representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century. He was the artistic leader for Gustavsberg in the 1930s and 1940s and is often called the father of Swedish modernism. Kage is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design. In the 1920s, Wilhelm created the Argenta series which was popularized at the Stockholm Exhibition of 1930. The series consisted of crocks, bowls, and vases adorned with a characteristic green glaze. The objects have silver decor with dragons, flowers, and dancing women. Argenta was first manufactured in flint but later manufactured in stoneware.

Micro Mosaic -Studio Del Mosaico Madonna del Perpetuo Soccorso. This is an absolutely beautiful vintage "Studio Del Mosaico" hand made micro mosaic icon of "Madonna del Perpetuo Soccorso" (Our Lady of Perpetual Help). The Blessed Virgin Mary with baby Jesus. The faces and hands are made of minute glass tiles. There is a shimmery gold tile halo and gold tile background. These were made at the Vatican, and there is a wonderful history of these mosaics being made there. They are rare.
